Rejected (week 11)

A sixteen year old and her boyfriend go into a new pharmacy in New Jersey. They go in to get birth control pills. The pharmacist, obviously coming from a Catholic background, rejects filling the presciption even though the Doctor approved of it. One man said that it was wrong for him to reject it. It's business. Another said he appreciated him not doing it because he had a teenage daughter and he would not want her to do it. The stats from this experiment was over half of the people thought it was wrong for the Pharmacist to reject filling it up.

I beleive that it was right for him to reject filling it. I would agree with the man who said that he would not want his daughter doing that. I think it should be a law that you must have parental consent to get birth control. People need to make the right moral choices. This actor made it clear as to what choice you should make when it comes to your sexual life. " Abstinance or abstinance is the best way to go."

Promise of a New Beginning (week 10)

President Barack Obama President Barack Obama reached out to Iran on Friday; the start of the Iranian New Year- in a video message offering the promise of a new beginning that is grounded in mutual respect. The message that was intended is completely different from that of the Bush administration. This included Iran, North Korea, and Iraq. They were known as the "axis of evil." President Obama said this in his video from last friday, "The United States wants the Islamic Republic of Iran to take its rightful place in the community of nations. You have that right, but it comes with real responsibilities. And that place cannot be reached through terror or arms, but rather through peaceful actions that demonstrate the true greatness of the Iranian people and civilization."

I think we should stay out of things now. It is ridiculous that we are still trying to make things work over there. We have done all that we can do. It seems from other sources that we are done there. So why do we keep trying to do things? To me it does not make any sense as to why we are doing this. I think we should focus on things at home rather then building another nation, which in my opinion, will go back to the way it was in a matter of time. Bring the troops and focus on things home.
